I presented many of my most recent sculptures, paintings and drawings at Bennett gallery in Knoxville, TN. The show Portrayals dispalyed a series of figurative ceramic personalities that came to me either while dreaming, or just "asking" the clay as I work. Sometimes a painting will come first, then I make a sculpture of the painting....sometimes it's the other way around!
